Pool and spa overlooking the MiraBay lagoon at 429 Manns Harbor Drive, Apollo Beach

Sunsets are how the day ends here. 429 Manns Harbor Drive sits on a wide, open stretch of the MiraBay lagoon and looks west across the water, and the 1,350-square-foot screened outdoor area gives you a front-row seat.

It is a remodeled, single-story 3-bedroom, 2-bath home with a 2025 heated and cooled pool and spa, a deeded dock with a 13,000-pound lift, a metal roof, and HVAC replaced in September 2025. No carpet anywhere.

The water: the lagoon, the lift and getting to Tampa Bay

The home has a private deeded wood dock with water, power and a 13,000-pound boat lift on the MiraBay lagoon. The lagoon is not tidal, so the water level at your dock does not rise and fall with the tides.

To get out to Tampa Bay, boats go through MiraBay’s community lift, which moves boats from the lagoon to the saltwater side. The maximum boat size for the community lift is 35 feet, and the trip through takes about 10 minutes. From there you have saltwater routes to Tampa Bay and the Gulf.

If your boat is over 35 feet, this is not the right house for it, and I would rather tell you now. If it fits, we will still check its loaded weight against the 13,000-pound rating.

The pool, spa and screened outdoor room

The 30-foot pool and spa were completed in 2025 and can be heated or cooled, so you can warm the spa on a cool night and cool the pool in August. The screen enclosure was replaced in 2024, and the whole screened outdoor area is about 1,350 square feet, big enough to swim, cook and eat dinner out there while the sun goes down over the lagoon.

Inside: single story, no carpet

Soaring ceilings, open sightlines, crown molding, wood floors and tile make it feel bigger than its nearly 2,000 square feet. There is a formal living and dining area plus an open family room, and a dedicated office or den. It is a split-bedroom plan on one level, with no stairs anywhere.

The remodeled kitchen

The kitchen was remodeled with custom solid-wood cabinets, Belize quartz counters, an island and a pantry, and it stays open to the family room and the view. The matte-finish GE Cafe refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher and oven were installed in 2022.

The primary suite and baths

The primary suite looks out at the lagoon. The remodeled bath has floor-to-ceiling custom tile, marble finishes, dual sinks, a Japanese bidet toilet, a soaking tub and a separate shower with multiple shower heads. The two other bedrooms share a renovated second full bath.

Roof, A/C and storm protection

A metal roof and a brand-new A/C system are two of the biggest-ticket items you will not have to think about for a long time, and both help when you shop for insurance.

What it actually costs to own

In flood zone AE, a lender will require flood insurance, so get the elevation certificate and a quote early. Taxes are reassessed after a sale; ask me for an estimate at your price.
