525 19th Street NW, Ruskin, FL 33570
$488,998 5 bedrooms | 3 baths | 3,300 square feet | built 2012 | Mira Lago MLS TB8523480

525 19th Street NW is a 2012 Lennar home in gated Mira Lago in Ruskin that was taken down to the studs and redesigned by Dutch designer Johanna Delwiche, whose work has been featured on HGTV. It has 5 bedrooms, 3 baths and 3,300 square feet, a flex room with a built-in Murphy bed on the main floor, and a primary suite that looks out over the water.
It is in flood zone X500, the association fees are low, and the seller is motivated. The price is $488,998.
A designer remodel, not a builder-grade house
Most homes in Mira Lago are still the Lennar floor plans they were built as. This one is not. The main living area is open, with exposed ceiling beams, recessed LED lighting and luxury vinyl and tile floors, and the finishes were chosen together as one design instead of one room at a time. You notice it the moment you walk in, and it is the reason this house does not compare neatly to the others on the street.

The kitchen and the main floor
The kitchen is the heart of the house: brand-new custom cabinetry, a big island, stone counters, a built-in oven and cooktop, and a range hood that anchors the room. It opens to the family room, so whoever is cooking is still part of the conversation.

There is also a formal dining room, a dedicated office, and a flex room with a built-in Murphy bed. That last room is the one people underestimate. Parents visiting for the winter, a grown child home for a few months, a guest who would rather not climb stairs: it gives them a space of their own on the main floor without giving up an office the rest of the year.

Upstairs
The bedrooms and a spacious loft are upstairs. The primary suite looks out over the water and has a freestanding soaking tub, a built-in bidet, two separate walk-in closets and a modern suspended fireplace, which is not something you see often in a home at this price in Ruskin.

Outside
Out back you have a covered rear porch, a gazebo, an outdoor kitchen with a grill, and a fire pit, all in a private yard. Hurricane-impact ENERGY STAR windows run throughout the house, and the home can be sold furnished or unfurnished.

What it actually costs to own
The 2025 property tax bill was $8,024, and that bill carried no homestead exemption. Florida reassesses a home after it sells, so ask me for an estimate based on your purchase price and on whether this will be your primary home.
The HOA is $294 a quarter and the CDD is about $791 a year on the tax bill, so association costs together come to roughly $98 a month. That is low for a gated community with a pool and clubhouse. It is in flood zone X500, so a lender will not normally require flood insurance, though I still suggest pricing a policy so you know the number.
Mira Lago
Mira Lago is a gated community in Ruskin just west of U.S. 41, with a resort-style pool, a clubhouse, a playground and a basketball court. What makes the location is how close you are to the water without paying waterfront prices. Little Harbor and its marina are about two minutes away, and E.G. Simmons Park, with boat ramps, canoe rentals and picnic areas, is right around the corner. Waterfront dining and the beach at Little Harbor are an easy evening out.

Come see it
If you would like to see it, call or text me. And tell me a little about who will be living here. If there are grandparents, grown kids or long-term guests in the picture, that main-floor room with the Murphy bed may be what makes this the right house, and I would love to hear how you picture using it.
